Our Explorers meet on a Monday evening at 20:00 at our hut on Depot Corner.
Hello and welcome to 1st Chilwell & Attenborough Archers Explorers!
Want to embark on an exciting adventure, filled with friendships and fun? We’re Explorer Scouts and everyone’s welcome here.
Explorer Scouts meet for an hour and a half per week, taking part in a wide range of activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing and zorbing. As an Explorer Scout you can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming or even how to fly a plane. There’s something for everyone. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
Our Explorers are a very active Unit. Every year 1st Chilwell and Attenborough Explorers take part in large numbers of activities ran by both us and outside organisations. They aim to complete at least one nights away experience every single month, even through Winter!
